I've always loved hosting, holidays, birthdays, random dinners that somehow turned into full tablescapes. After enough of those events, friends started half-joking that I should do this for a living. I brushed it off at first. Then I actually sat with the idea, and it stuck
There's been a real shift back toward hosting, people wanting to gather at home instead of defaulting to a restaurant or bar. The problem is most people don't know where to start, or they assume they don't have the space, the dishes, or the time to pull it off. That's the gap I wanted to fill.
I’ve collected full sets, plates, glassware, flatware, in a range of styles, so clients can choose something that actually fits the vibe they're going for instead of settling for whatever's on hand. It solves a problem I kept hearing about: nobody wants to serve dinner on paper plates because they don't own place settings for twelve people, but buying a full set for one event doesn't make sense either. This way, you get a table that feels intentional, not disposable, and it keeps perfectly good dishware in circulation instead of sending more plastic to a landfill.
At the core of it, I just believe everyone deserves to gather with the people they love without it becoming a source of stress. Hosting shouldn't feel like a second job. My goal is to take on the parts that usually cause the most anxiety, the setup, the sourcing, the small details, so the people hosting can actually be present at their own event.
A lot of that instinct comes from my mom. She's the person who always went all out for holidays, the special plates came out, the glassware matched, every detail was thought through. She still does it to this day, and watching her taught me that the small things are what people actually remember. This business is, in a lot of ways, a continuation of something she started long before I knew it would become a business idea.
I also built this specifically for smaller events, because that space is genuinely underserved. Most event planners are set up for weddings or large-scale productions, which means the smaller, more personal gatherings, get overlooked. Working exclusively with micro events means I have the time and capacity to focus on every detail of your event, not just the big-picture logistics.
